Robear Consulting was started in 1999 to
meet the demanding needs of today's hospital/healthcare
information technology environment. Our founder, Jeff Robbins,
has worked "hands on" in busy hospital IT departments,
as an IT Director at a major teaching hospital, and in a
variety of roles for prominent HIS software vendors. He
has an acute understanding of the hospital's need to secure
additional resources from time to time and wanted to offer
services to CIO's and hospital IS management . His goal
is to provide resources that will not only help from a standpoint
of offering additional personnel for specific projects and
individual tasks, but also to add expertise, efficiency
and fiscal value.
We are headquartered in the greater New
Orleans area, and collectively have over 50 years experience
in information systems technology. We have consultants based
out of Atlanta, New York, Omaha and Oregon, as well as New
Orleans.
Our consultants have experience working
for some of the major software vendors (McKesson™/HBOC,
Healthvision Quovadx™) and also for hospitals (Georgetown
University Hospital, Children's Hospital and Alegent Health
System) prior to consulting. We have managed major projects
and large groups of employees in addition to completing
many software development projects and consulting engagements.
The associates of Robear Consulting are
very task-oriented and strive to deliver value while focusing
on a high-quality solution to Healthcare Information Systems
problems and requirements. Customer service is central to
